Dr. Jamaine Ifedi, DDS, MBA

Lead Dentist

Welcome to EMPIRE! I’m Dr. Jamaine Ifedi, and I’m proud to serve the Charlotte community that raised me. Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, it is truly an honor to return home and care for the people and families of this city. I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UNC Chapel Hill School of Dentistry and completed both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at East Carolina University, making me a proud Tar Heel and a two-time Pirate.

Beyond dentistry, I am deeply committed to education, mentorship, and community service. I founded the nonprofit organization Talented Empowered Aspired Men, which focuses on improving minority male college graduation rates. I am also actively involved with the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club and Elevation Church. I don’t just want to be your dentist; I strive to be your oral health educator and advocate. My goal is to help every patient feel informed, empowered, and confident in their smile.

Dawn Ifedi, RDH, BA

Office Manager & Registered Dental Hygienist

Dawn Ifedi is a Charlotte native who has always had a strong connection to her community. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UNC-Greensboro and completed her Dental Hygiene degree at Guilford Technical Community College. Early in her career, Dawn also spent a year in Philadelphia working with a nonprofit organization focused on supporting youth in the community.

As a Registered Dental Hygienist and Office Manager, Dawn is passionate about patient education and helping individuals understand the importance of oral health. She is equally dedicated to inspiring young adults to explore careers in dentistry. Outside of the office, Dawn proudly wears her “Property Queen” hat as a short-term rental coach, helping homeowners turn their properties into profitable vacation rentals. Her leadership, creativity, and attention to detail play a key role in creating a welcoming and well-organized experience at EMPIRE.

Financial Coordinator

My name is Kingsley Ifedi, and my mission at Empire Dental Group is to help you reach your optimal level of oral health. Affectionately known as “The Quarterback,” I played quarterback at North Carolina A&T University, earning my Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Master’s in Accountancy.

As a CPA with an unorthodox approach, I combine my financial expertise with strategic thinking to ensure our patients receive the best financial guidance for their dental care. I look forward to being your quarterback and leading you to victory in achieving a healthy and confident smile!
